Redline

Draft, awaiting Redline Sales’ approval · last updated 22 September 2026

Training privacy

For people who work at Redline and sign in to train. It covers your account, your training record, and the sales you log. For what the video player and assessments record in plain terms, see the monitoring notice.

Your account

Your name, the email address you gave us, your role, whether your account is active, and the dates you started and, if it happens, left.

Your password is kept by our sign-in provider as a one-way scramble that nobody at Redline can read back. When you are hired, a manager is shown a temporary password once, to pass on to you; it is not stored anywhere it could be read again. Change it under “Change password” once you are signed in. Changing it signs your account out everywhere, so anybody who used the old one is locked out.

Your training record

This is the point of the platform, so it is worth being plain about:

While you watch

Every 10 seconds the video player sends: where you are in the video, the playback speed, whether this tab is visible, whether the window is focused, and whether the player is on screen. It also records a description of your browser and device. The server uses this to credit only real, normal-speed watching.

Managers can see a summary of those signals for each person — for example, how often the tab was hidden. The summary does not change anything by itself. A manager looks at it and decides what, if anything, to do.

Assessments

Your answers are recorded, with when you opened and submitted the attempt — not how long you spent on each question. Multiple-choice questions are marked automatically. Written answers are read and marked by a manager. No answer you give is sent to an artificial intelligence service. You see the mark and the manager’s note on it; you do not see the model answer it was marked against.

Sales you log

When you log a sale: who you sold it to, the company, the contract, how often it is charged, the price, and when you logged it. It is credited to you, the signed-in person. A manager can correct a sale; if they do, it shows that it was corrected, by whom and when — but never who logged it or when.

What is never collected

No camera. No microphone. No keystrokes. No screen recording or screenshots. No location. Nothing outside the training pages you have open. Your IP address is not stored in your training record. These were ruled out deliberately, at any price.

How it is used

Who sees it

You see your own training record and your own sales. You do not see anybody else’s, and nobody else in a rep’s role sees yours. Managers at Redline see everyone’s.

A manager can also download your training record as a file — what you watched, how the checkpoints went, your scores and your certificates — to keep with Redline’s own records. The file is signed, so any later change to it can be detected.

Nobody outside Redline sees any of it — not the companies we sell for, and not their customers. It is stored with the companies that run the platform for us, who may handle it only to provide that service: Vercel (hosting), Supabase (data, files and sign-in) and Resend, which delivers email. The data is stored in the United States.

The only email this platform sends you is a link to set a new password, and only when you ask for one. Asking gives your email address to Resend so the message can be delivered; nothing about your training goes with it. If you do not ask, nothing is sent and your address goes nowhere.

How long it is kept

Asking about your record

Ask a manager, or write to privacy@redline.it.com. You can ask what is held about you and ask for something to be corrected. A training record is also Redline’s record of having trained you, so a request to delete it while you still work here may be refused — and if it is, you will be told why.

Changes

If what the platform records changes, this page changes first, and the date at the top moves.
